Dear Sir or Madam,
Letter
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to you about renting one room to a student. I know that students' accommodation is under the control of the council officer. I hope you can help us.
My friend and I are studying at the University at the faculty of Economics. We are renting an apartment near the main University building on 64 Elm Street. It is a large apartment with three separate bedrooms, shared living room, kitchen, bathroom and toilet. It is a very bright and quiet flat which is the best place to prepare for exams or relax after classes. There is a grocery store, restaurant and café nearby. The house has a shared laundry room on each floor. The apartment is located on the fourth floor. All windows overlook the courtyard. My friend and I occupy two bedrooms, but the third bedroom is free. It may be utilised by another student who is prepared to take on one-third of our rent payments.
A very nice apartment, but a bit expensive for us. We decided to share it with another student. That way we can reduce our monthly payment and maybe find a new friend. Permission from the owner of the house to sublet has been received. We are looking for a neat, quiet student who likes to study like us. He shouldn't smoke, have pets, or plan parties without our consent.
I await your reply. This is a wonderful room for a student. If you have any questions you can write to me at this address or call +12345678.
With regards,
Slava
